Khloe

Ready to keep up with Khloe? Described as “friendly, independent and quiet,” by her previous family, Khloe is the type of kitty who walks the line perfectly between keeping to herself and being a loving, social lady. She’s a professional when it comes to lounging around and prefers to spend most of her day getting some good R&R with lots of cat naps. She gets a lot of beauty sleep, which must be why she’s so stunning! When she’s awake, Khloe is happy to seek out love from her humans when she’s in the mood. Receiving gentle pets in small doses and short brushing sessions are her favorite ways to spend time with her people. She’s very good at letting them know through her body language when she would like attention and when she’s had enough. Even when she’s in an “I’d prefer not to be touched right now,” mood, she can often be found following her favorite people around or sitting somewhere in the same room.

Khloe loves to play, particularly with catnip toys and anything she can chase! Her previous family reported that Khloe does sometimes mistake hands and feet for toys, so her adopter will need to make sure they keep an eye on her body language and end playtime when she starts to get too overstimulated.

Khloe is looking for an understanding adopter. She has chronic kidney disease (CKD), which isn’t uncommon in older cats. Luckily, our veterinarians don’t believe that she needs to be on a prescription diet or any medication at this time. They would be happy to answer any questions about the signs and symptoms of CKD and what it may look like in the future. Otherwise, an adopter who has some experience with kitties like Khloe and lives in a home with teens and up would be the best fit for this lady.
