Jax—endearingly known as Lady-J—is a one-year-old cat that came from a multi-cat household. Jax has blossomed in her foster home. This sweet girl is truly a love-bug once you get to know her but likes to make slow introductions on her terms. Jax might become nervous with lots of movement in her personal space, but this gal will soon warm up if you take things slowly and offer plenty of treats. Once Jax is comfortable, she is quite social, energetic and enjoys the company of her human. Her foster parent reported that Jax will eat, play and allow some petting even within the first 24 hours in new surroundings. Jax often asks for more pets and leans into your hand, sometimes offering gentle head butts. This gal has been known to be a little explorer of her territory, but her favorite pastime is curling up in bed with her human.

Jax has lived with other cats and would thrive in a home with another kitty! She respects boundaries and plays a bit of chase and shares her toys. Her foster caregiver told us that Jax is very vocal when playing and has a bundle of energy. If you are interested in adopting Jax, we welcome you to fill out our Cat Adoption Survey.
