Ivy

Calling all workaholics! Ivy may be the cat for you. Described by her previous family as, “an independent cat that enjoys lounging around,” Ivy is the type of kitty who has no issue enjoying alone time—but does enjoy some affection every now and then, too! Because Ivy knows that solitude truly can be a blessing, she’d be happy to let you do your thing during the long workday and maybe get a little love afterhours. Ivy tends to be shy around new people and in new places, but once she settles in, this lovely gal becomes a pretty friendly lady who seeks out attention when she wishes. Otherwise, Ivy is happy to curl up for a cat nap in her favorite cozy spots, play with mice toys or scratch on a nice scratcher instead!

Ivy is looking for a family who appreciates her independent attitude and understands that it may take her some time to adjust to a new home—and that’s okay! We think that she would do best in a home with children ages eight and up. Because Ivy prefers to be the queen of the castle, no other cats, please!
