Hematite is looking for a new home! This pretty girl tends to be nervous in new places and will probably hide for a while when first arriving home. Once she settles in, she’s sure to show her true colors! And what are those true colors, you may ask? A lover of weaving between peoples’ legs! Hematite was noted by her previous family to prefer her independence about half the time. During the other half, Hematite likes attention on her terms. When she wants it she can almost always be found asking for it by walking back and forth between your feet and rubbing up against you or nearby objects. Let Hematite come to you and initiate scratches, and she’s sure to be one happy lady! When getting loved on, Hematite may even let you hear her unique purr—it doesn’t actually sound like a purr but more like a cute little snore. According to her previous family, Hematite isn’t a big fan of being picked up, but she does love being brushed—which is probably why she’s so beautiful.
We think that Hematite would benefit from going to a home with people who have experience with cats like her and understand that she will need time and confinement to settle in. Small kids would be too much for this gal, so she’s asked us to relay that she’d like to live with teens and up please!
