Gambit

Gambit’s background is a mystery—where did he come from, and what has he been through? What we do know is that there’s absolutely no doubt he would thrive in a home! Gambit hasn’t been with us at the ASPCA for too long, so we’re still getting a grasp on who he is deep down. He’s been a little nervous in his kennel so far—understandably, of course—but Gambit has slowly and surely begun to come out of his shell. We’ve learned that there are two surefire ways to make friends with Gambit—treats and playtime! He gobbles up any Temptations before they even have the chance to hit the ground, and he could chase after a laser light for hours—literally—if given the opportunity. Every day Gambit has been getting more and more confident around people, working up to now doing figure-of-eights between their feet, rubbing on their legs and enjoying pets from head to rump! In a safe and loving home, we know he’d continue to blossom into a great companion.

Gambit is looking for an adopter who’s excited to keep learning about who he really is and is willing to give him the time and space he needs to get there! Because Gambit is a bit of a sensitive soul small kids may be too rowdy for him, so he’s asked us to pass along the message that teens and up would be preferred please!
