Ready to fall for Faye? Faye is the type of girl who can be a little nervous when it comes to meeting new people and going to new places. But give her time and confinement to settle in and you can soon see her for the sweet kitten she is! Trust us, we watched this happen firsthand in her foster home. According to her foster dad, Faye is an active little lady who enjoys plastic balls, interactive toys, wand toys, kickers and climbing up into high spaces once she feels comfortable. He also notes that Faye is affectionate when she wants to be and enjoys pets and scratches once she considers you a friend! An unusual way to win over Faye’s heart is to have a beard—we don’t know what it is about them, but Faye seems to absolutely love snuggling up in them. Described as “a little purr machine,” Faye’s foster dad wants you to know that you better like the sound of cat purrs because if you adopt Faye you better be “ready to have that for life.”
Faye is a bit more sensitive than some of her rowdy kitten counterparts. We think that she would do best with an adopter who lives in a home with kids ages 8 and up and understands that it will take her time to adjust to any new home. Count Faye in if you’ve already got another kitty since this girl loves having friends who speak her language! If you think Faye is the cat for you, please fill out our Cat Adoption Survey.
