Fantasia

Fantasia is an elegant, graceful, quiet lady! Usually, you can find Fantasia curled up in a cozy spot for a nice cat nap. Windowsills, rugs and cat carriers seem to be Fantasia’s favorite nooks to lounge in, and when she falls asleep it’s the cutest thing. She can often be found with her front feet tucked under her like a little loaf or with her face straight down on the ground! But just because Fantasia likes to nap doesn’t mean she doesn’t like to socialize. Fantasia is a little bit of a shy girl, but she willingly greets friends and strangers alike with a great meow as soon as they walk in the room. When she wants a few gentle pets, Fantasia can usually be found rubbing back and forth against your legs or hands—and if you don’t pay attention to her, she flops and rolls around on the floor to make her desire for attention more obvious! Fantasia has a playful side, too, and enjoys playing with wand toys, but there’s one thing she likes even better than games—food! Fantasia happily chows down on any and every meal and loves to stick her nose in her people’s food while they’re trying to eat, even if it’s something boring like salad.

Fantasia is looking for an adopter who understands that she’s a little shy—it’s just part of who she is—and that she will need time and confinement to settle in. We think she’d do best in a quiet home with children ages 8 and up, and while she has never lived with cats or dogs our Matchmakers would be happy to speak with potential adopters about how to properly introduce Fantasia to other furry household members.
