Elise

One of our volunteers describes Elise perfectly when she says that this kitty “is just a dream—a total package of looks and personality!” Elise has had the pleasure of living in a staff member’s office during her time at the ASPCA Adoption Center, and while it took her some time to adjust, she soon blossomed into the dreamboat we’ve come to know and love! Whether Elise has met you before or not, as soon as you enter the room Elise is sure to be at your feet asking how you are. She has one favorite hobby that she loves showing off to everyone who comes in—making biscuits! From kneading on her blanket to kneading on odd objects like stacks of paper, Elise could truly open her own bread factory if she so wished. Elise also loves scratches when paired with a slow approach and will happily purr away in contentment whenever and wherever she gets them! She may even thank you by booping her nose on yours.

Elise is looking for a person who understands that it will take her time to adjust to any new home. We know that Elise has previously lived with other cats but we’re not sure how they got along—so, if you’re considering Elise as a friend for your current kitty, our Matchmakers would be happy to provide instructions on how to do proper cat-to-cat intros!
