Edie

Edie is a beautiful young lady looking for a home where she can blossom! We haven’t known Edie for too long, but from what we’ve seen—and from what her previous family said—Edie is a low-key girl who errs on the shy side. It will likely take Edie some time to settle into a new home, but once she feels comfortable, you’re sure to have quite a lovely little kitty on your hands! Edie reportedly loves to lounge around and watch the world go by, particularly from her favorite spot on the windowsill. To Edie, there’s really nothing better than gazing out at the beautiful New York City skyline! Edie enjoys getting a few gentle pets from the humans she’s close to and prefers to have quick, short petting sessions rather than lengthy love sessions. She’s clear with her body language when she’d like more attention and when she’s had enough, so keep your eyes open! All in all, Edie is a wonderful, low-key and mellow gal who wants nothing more than a comfy home to nap in.

We think that Edie would do best with an adopter who has some experience with cats like her and understands that she may always be a little shy. According to her previous family, Edie seems to prefer a home without other kitties or small kids—and we agree that that would be best.
