Crinkle is a special little lady! When she first arrived at the ASPCA, sweet Crinkle needed medical attention—she had a head tilt, was diagnosed with FIV, was missing all her teeth except for one, and had severe ear infections. She’s received lots of love and care from our team and is now doing great. Because Crinkle’s ear infections were so serious, she had both ear canals removed to prevent further discomfort. Although she is deaf and has a floppy ear, Crinkle has no idea she’s different, and her lack of hearing doesn’t bother her in the slightest! Currently, she’s being spoiled in a foster home and she adores one thing—pillows! This lovely lady knows how to get comfortable and enjoys spending most of her time sprawled out for a nap. The only thing that may make Crinkle’s naptime better is when her humans are nearby! According to her foster mom, “Crinkle is highly affectionate—she wants to touch you while napping.” She also loves batting at wand toys, getting scritches and having conversations with her people!
Crinkle’s foster mom sums it up best when she says that Crinkle is “perfect” and “an ideal cat.” Because she can be nervous in new places, Crinkle is looking for an adopter who will give her time to settle in while allowing Crinkle to take things at her own pace. She prefers a slow approach and is a little too sensitive for young kids, so children ages 8 and up would be best. She’s previously lived well with other cats, too! Crinkle would love to find a family who can look past her medical uniqueness and love her for who she is. If you’re interested in adopting Crinkle, please fill out our Cat Adoption Survey.
