Clay is a unique-looking young lady with much more to her than just those good looks! Having come to the ASPCA Adoption Center from a home with lots and lots of kitties, Clay is excited to find a new safe, loving and quiet home—perhaps even one that she may be able to call all her own! Clay tends to be nervous in new places and will definitely be nervous in her new digs, but give her the time she needs to settle in and soon you’re sure to see her kitten side come out! Clay has a playful personality that she loves to let flourish when she feels comfortable. Clay’s game of choice? Batting at a wand toy! Nothing gets this little lady more excited than one of those colorful ribbons flying about. When it comes to humans, Clay still tends to be a little hand shy, but she appreciates gentle petting with a slow approach and on her terms!
Clay is looking for an adopter who understands that she will need time and confinement to adjust to any new home. Rowdy kids can be too much for Clay, so would probably do best in a quiet home with teens and up. Clay is picky about her cat friends, and our Matchmakers would be happy to speak with interested adopters if they’re considering Clay as a roommate for their current kitty. If you think Clay may be your match, come meet her today!
