Arugula

We’re all about Arugula! This pretty young gal likely didn’t have much experience interacting with people before coming to our Adoption Center, but in the few weeks she’s been with us Arugula has shown us that she’s more than down for a new family! Arugula is the type of kitty who may take a little bit of time to feel comfortable in her new home, but once she gets to that point, we know that she’ll show her wonderful personality! Paired with a slow approach, Arugula is the type of cat who really seems to enjoy being pet. According to our Behavior team, once she feels confident Arugula is happy to revel in scratches—and when she’s enjoying them a whole lot, she sometimes even purrs and rolls over! Otherwise, Arugula is happy to nap in her small, comfy spots, watch bird videos, grab at wand toys and chase after fake mice.

Arugula is looking for a person who understands that going to a new home will be a little scary and that she’ll need time and space to settle in—which is normal for a lot of cats! Because small tots may be too much for Arugula, we’d love to see her go to a home with kids ages eight and up.
