With so many people currently working remotely, right now is the perfect time for Alexandra to find a new home! Alexandra has the privilege of getting to spend her time in an ASPCA staff member’s office, and she’s proven herself to be one of the world’s best personal assistants. Alexandra loves sticking right to her boss’ side while they are working and often tries to put her own spin on emails by walking all over her keyboard. It will likely take Alexandra some time to get to this point in her new home—or job, as we’d like to say—since she is a shy kitty. She can be quite nervous in new places and with new people and would benefit greatly if given initial confinement and lots of time to get oriented at her own pace. When she’s off the clock, Alexandra can often be found relaxing on her office mates’ desk, waiting for her to get back to work, or lounging in a window. She also enjoys attention, too! A sensitive gal, Alexandra isn’t a fan of fast movements or loud sounds and isn’t shy about making that known. She prefers attention in short doses on her terms and is great at letting you know when she’d like some love—she purrs loudly, rubs on everything in sight, and rolls around on the floor!
Alexandra is looking for an adopter who lives in a home with teens and up and has experience with sensitive cats like her. If you have an open personal assistant position you think Alexandra would be a good fit for, we welcome you to fill out our Cat Adoption Survey!
