Patches
Color:
Grey/White
Breed:
Shih Tzu
Sex:
Male
Big fan of: Lap time! Once Patches gets to know you, he’d love to curl up in your lap while you watch TV. Patches also loves playtime and likes most people he meets.
Not a fan of: Feeling threatened. Patches feels uncomfortable if you reach for him suddenly.
Special features: A victim of cruelty, Patches’ injuries required that his right eye be removed. He is blind in his left eye. As a result, he is still learning to navigate his environment. Patches is almost wee-wee pad trained. With guidance and supervision in his new home, Patches will learn quickly to do this in your home, too!
Dream home: This little guy is looking for a patient and experienced adopter who will help him manage everyday life with his disability. Patches will need some time to learn to trust his new pet parent. At this point, Patches is not interested in other dogs, but may learn to make doggie friends in the future. He’d do best in a home with adults only where he’s the only dog.
