Big fan of: Meeting new people and telling them he loves them; staying right by your side on a leash; exploring the world around him via his nose; and saying hello to other dogs on a walk.

Not a fan of: Waiting so long for someone to adopt him! 

Special features: Harold knows how to Sit! He also knows how to be super sweet and gentle with everyone he meets. That’s part of why he’s so beloved at the ASPCA.

Other reasons he’s special: At 13, Harold has degenerative valve disease that needs medication—our vets will explain all about this common condition when you meet Harold.

Dream home: Harold needs a special family! We estimate taking care of his little heart will cost his new pet parents $50 per month, and will mean regular trips to the vet, so his ideal family will not balk at going above and beyond for this special guy. An eight-and-up home (or possibly even one with younger kids) is just right for Harold.
