This small pup is irresistible! Boomer is a Corgi/Dachshund mix awaiting his adopters at the ASPCA Adoption Center. Come meet this little ball of energy today!

Big fan of: Cuddling and play time! Boomer loves to snuggle up to his favorite people. When he’s not enjoying some quality cuddle time, he is ready to exercise and play. Boomer loves to play with people and dog friends alike. He is excited to go out for a walk and say “hello” to friendly faces. 

Not a fan of: Some people make Boomer feel frightened, but with time and patience, he warms up to new faces. Boomer does not prefer people around while he is eating, but our Behavior team can show you some exercises to help him learn to share. 

Special features: Boomer already knows how to “sit,” and is eager to learn other basic manners. This small dog is very talkative. Our Behavior team can give you some tips to help Boomer learn more quiet behaviors. Guidance and supervision will help Boomer learn to only use the bathroom outside. 

Dream home: Boomer does not like to be left alone for long periods of time. He is looking to join a home with an experienced adopter who can spend plenty of time with him. He would do well in a home with teens-and-up, and may be comfortable with younger kids, but should meet them first at the Adoption Center.
