Are you in search of a dog friend who enjoys a little quality relaxation time? If you answered “yes,” we hope you’ll consider coming to the ASPCA Adoption Center to meet Bob! This older gentleman is eager to find an adopter who he can curl up on the couch with.
Big fan of: Relaxing! As an older fellow, Bob appreciates the finer things in life, like lounging around with his friends and catching up on their favorite TV shows. This small pup likes most people he meets, especially those with a calm demeanor.
Not a fan of: Be sure to approach Bob quietly and calmly, as some loud noises and fast movements make him a bit nervous. Bob does not like it when people try to take his food, but our Behavior team can show you some exercises to help him learn to share.
Special features: When out for a walk, Bob likes to stop occasionally and take in the scenery, but a few words of encouragement will get him going again. This small dog is not very interested in toys or bones, and needs regular brushing and grooming to keep his coat silky smooth. Bob is great at using wee wee pads, but will need some supervision as he adjusts to his new home.
Dream home: Bob has a few health issues which will require routine maintenance and a special diet so he needs an experienced adopter. Bob has lived with dogs in the past but is perfectly fine with being the only dog in his new home and would do well in a home with teens-and-up.
