Office Foster Cat

As part of our adoption program, some of our feline friends have the opportunity to live in ASPCA team members' offices. Living in an office allows cats to have a more comfortable and domestic living space, and allows our behaviorists to learn more about each individual kitty's personality and needs. Through the office foster program, we are able to offer adopters a clearer picture of how their new feline friend will adjust to life in a permanent home.

What Maureen's Office Foster Parent Says about Her:

“Maureen is a true Sidekick. She loves nothing more than to sit by her human and quietly share space with them. With her big movie star eyes and low-key nature, she will steal the heart of anyone looking for a cozy companion. She also has a tendency to stick her tongue out when she’s sleeping, which makes everyone around her grab their smart phones.

Maureen loves cuddling up with her stuffed frog toy, being petted and brushed, and making biscuits while dozing off. At 12-years-old, she doesn’t get into trouble, but she is still curious and engaging and you can even get her to play with a Kickaroo or feather wand. She has become a staff favorite at ASPCA office, where she likes to stroll over to nearby colleagues and say hi. A sweet companion with a calming presence, Maureen will flourish in a quiet home without children or other pets. After a year in our care, she is more than ready to find a steady, loving home.”

MYM Feline-ality:
Sidekick

Like all sidekicks, I'm just plain good company. I like attention, and I also like my solitude. I don't go looking for trouble, but I'm no scaredy-cat, either. If you are looking for a steady companion to travel with you on the road of life, look no further.
