Office Foster Cat
As part of our adoption program, some of our feline friends have the opportunity to live in ASPCA team members' offices. Living in an office allows cats to have a more comfortable and domestic living space, and allows our behaviorists to learn more about each individual kitty's personality and needs. Through the office foster program, we are able to offer adopters a clearer picture of how their new feline friend will adjust to life in a permanent home. If you're interested in adopting one of our office companion kitties, or for more information, please call (212) 876-7700, ext. 4120.
More About Her:
A wide-eyed wonder cat, Glenys is a gentle and furry four-year-old girl who enjoys being loved up with soft pets and head scratches. She has three legs, but doesn’t let that stop her at all from careful exploring, jumping up on chairs, batting around toy mice and using her scratching post. When new people come into the office, Glenys will often walk over, train her big yellow eyes on them, and offer her silky head as if to say, “I love you. Please pet me.” Sometimes when she’s alone, Glenys will let out a little meow to ask for company, but in a very sweet way. She loves soft beds, particularly the little cubby in her foster home—it’s her bedroom and safe place from which to observe everything going on. She’ll find one in your home, too. Glenys is a calm and sweet cat who would be perfect for anyone who has room in their heart and home—one with no other cats, please—for a very loving pet and loyal friend.
MYM Feline-ality:
Personal Assistant
You're working on the computer? Let me press the keys. Reading the paper? I'll hold the pages down for you. Watching TV? I'll just plop in your lap so you can pet me. I love an orderly household, don't you? I'll help you with all your chores, and I'll help you relax when we're done. You'll wonder how you ever managed without me.
