Say hello to Astrid! Little Astrid came to the ASPCA Behavioral Rehabilitation Center (BRC) last year, after living in poor conditions with many other dogs. While she can be a little nervous when she meets new people, Astrid has made many friends here and in foster and is ready to meet her new favorite person—you! She enjoys cuddling with people on the couch, playing with other dogs and taking afternoon strolls in the park. Astrid is a little dog with lots of love to give and she is waiting patiently for a loving home!

Big fan of: Spending time with her people! Astrid is usually laid back at home and enjoys sitting quietly under your desk while you work. She loves to play with other dogs, and once she settles in, will sprint around the house and play tag with you, too! Astrid does the cutest wiggly dance to greet you when you come home and will keep you entertained every day with her silly personality. She has gotten along with dogs of all shapes and sizes and would enjoy having a confident dog in the home to be her pal for life.

Working on: Adjusting to new routines. Astrid may need some time to settle into her new home, so she is hoping for a patient adopter who will take things slow with her. She has done well in two different foster homes and is ready to join your household for her next adventure! Astrid has some vision loss, but she doesn’t let that hold her back! While her eyesight does not have a large impact on her daily life, our staff will be happy to talk with you about her medical history during the matchmaking process.

Dream home: Astrid is hoping for an adopter who appreciates snuggles in bed, wet dog kisses, and understands that she may be nervous in new situations and need some extra patience. Once settled in, she will delight you every day with her fun personality and adorable zoomies.
