Crescent

Crescent is the type of kitty who would make a wonderful companion to humans and other cats alike! Described as, “shy and reserved in the shelter” by our Behavior team, Crescent has been making more and more progress each day—and we can’t wait to see how much more progress she’d make in a home. In both the shelter and with her previous family, Crescent has been noted to be shy around strangers. But, when using a slow approach—paired with yummy treats, of course, and another confident kitty by her side—our staff have gotten on Crescent’s good side! Now, Crescent is happy to come out of her hidey box, approach her friends and lean into their hands to ask that they give her lots and lots of scratches. When she’s feeling frisky, Crescent even headbutts your hands to politely demand pets, too!

Crescent would love a quiet home with a patient adopter who’s excited to help her continue coming out of her shell.
