You’re going to go bananas for Beans! A peppy, high-spirited young man, Beans, “is one of the sweetest kittens,” his foster caregiver has ever met. According to his foster mom, Beans, “is such a happy, innocent boy who always wants to be next to us.” And he’s a curious little guy, too! Beans always finds enjoyment in exploring the apartment and investigating any packages that arrive—he has to give his stamp of approval before they can be opened! And just like many kittens, Beans is incredibly playful. He loves toy mice—especially the ones with long tails—and can spend hours upon hours playing with them. Once the games are said and done, Beans is happy to nap next to his people or curl up in their arms to be held and kissed.

Beans’ adopter should know that our veterinarians have diagnosed him with chronic rhinitis—which basically means the mucous membrane in his nose is often inflamed. This causes noisy breathing and an intermittent runny nose. He may also be more prone to getting kitty colds and needing antibiotics than other cats. Even though Beans has chronic rhinitis, he should be able to live with another kitty so long as he or she is kept indoors, vaccinated and has a good immune system! Beans would be just as happy to be a solo cat and revel in all of your love, too.

Beans is a lovely kitten and is looking for someone who’s ready to look past his simple medical needs and love him for the spunky little dude he is! He’d make a great fit for many different types of homes and families. If you’d like to adopt Beans, please complete our Cat Adoption Survey.
