Brussel

Brussel is a beautiful young lady who’s ready to blossom in a new home! This sweet girl was nervous when she first arrived at the ASPCA Adoption Center, and who can blame her? New places can be scary, and we expect she’ll probably be nervous at first in her new home, too. As we continue to spend more and more time with her, it’s become clear that Brussel is ready to start coming out of her shell—and she’s been taking steps to get there! We can see that Brussel wants to play with toys—she seems particularly interested in bird videos and laser lights. We know that in the right home, she’d be more than willing to let that side of herself shine. If there’s one thing she hasn’t been shy about letting us know she likes, it’s butt scratches! Meowing is one of the tricks she keeps up her sleeve to ask for them, and when she gets those good rubs Brussel sometimes get so happy that she purrs, kneads and rolls around.

Brussel would like an adopter who’s okay with the fact that she’s a little shy and is ready to love her for who she is! Lots of activity and things going on can be too much for Brussel, so we think that she would do best in a quiet home with teens and up. We’ve learned that Brussel likes to keep her kitty social circle small and may do best as the queen of the castle—but, if you already have another cat our Matchmakers would be happy to speak about how to best set them up for success!
