Earlier this week, we asked our supporters to help us pick a song for our first-ever ASPCA playlist, in honor of all the homeless dogs and cats who will take rescue road trips this summer for a better chance at finding loving homes. After counting all the votes, we had a clear fan favorite. The winning song was “Somebody to Love” by Queen! 

We had so much fun putting together this playlist, and we made sure to include other classics from artists like The Beatles, Gladys Knight and Electric Light Orchestra, and many more. And we are so happy to share it with you! You can listen to the full rescue road trip playlist on Spotify® today!

Rescue road trips are made possible through lifesaving efforts like the ASPCA’s Animal Relocation Program, a critical program that gives thousands of animals a lift from areas where the homeless pet population is high and chances of adoption are lower, to areas where their chances of finding the right home are greatly improved. This program has helped create so many happy endings for animals in need, and they deserve some tunes along the way. We hope that you will enjoy our playlist on your next road trip, and keep in mind the faces that inspired it!
