Giving to the ASPCA Is Easy Through Your Donor-Advised Fund
October 9, 2025 is DAF Day — a national holiday that encourages donors to give to their favorite charities through their Donor-Advised Fund (DAF). If you already have a DAF, you can give to the ASPCA through DAFpay in just three easy clicks!
You can also set up monthly or annual recurring grants to ensure the ASPCA can continue our lifesaving work. Your automatic, recurring support enables us to respond at a moment’s notice throughout the year, rescuing animals from disaster and cruelty. Contact your DAF administrator or select this option online via DAFpay.
Don’t have a Donor-Advised Fund and want to learn more? Here are some fast facts to get you started:
- A Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) is a simple way to manage your charitable giving and help save lives by recommending gifts to the ASPCA. There are over 1,000 DAF providers, but common ones include Fidelity Charitable, GS DAF, DAFgiving360, Vanguard Charitable, National Philanthropic Trust and local community foundations.
- DAFs are tax-deductible in the year they are made, allowing you to potentially reduce your taxable income. However, funds in a DAF can be invested and potentially grow over time, allowing you to increase your charitable impact and have an even greater effect on your chosen causes. You can direct philanthropic gifts toward charities now or in the future when you’re ready.
- Giving from your DAF has never been easier. We now have DAFpay available to support the ASPCA in just three clicks!
- You can continue your animal welfare legacy by choosing to have any remaining DAF funds distributed to the ASPCA after your lifetime by naming the ASPCA as a beneficiary of all or a portion of remaining funds. Contact us about your plans so we can support you!
Already given a DAF gift? Let us know by emailing [email protected] or calling 646-291-4517 and include the name of your DAF institution and gift amount. We do not always receive information that identifies you as a donor, so this way, we can ensure the gift is linked to your account and thank you for your commitment to animals!
