Meet Ruben, a bundle of joy, goofiness, and love! This sweet boy is incredibly social and loves meeting new people. He will happily trot right up to ask for pets before settling in beside you with a toy, soaking up all the affection he can get.

Ruben has a medium-to-high energy level and thrives on playtime. He’s a playgroup rockstar who adores other dogs, showing off his silly hops and zoomies in the yard. After he’s burned off some energy, he’s all about relaxing, flopping down with a toy and leaning into his people for pets and snuggles.

Ruben came to us from a suspected cruelty case, so he’s still learning that the world is a safe and fun place. He will thrive with a family that can offer patience, understanding and positive reinforcement as he continues to build confidence. He may initially be a little unsure about things like leashing or new environments, but he’s already making great progress. He just needs someone willing to guide him and cheer him on!
