Kelsey is a 4-year-old, fawn pittie girl who is the total package! You’d never guess this sweetheart came to us from a suspected cruelty case. Kelsey greets every single person like they’re her long-lost best friend. She has this full-body wiggle and the cutest little tippy-tap dance when she’s excited to see you. She loves to snuggle and will happily sneak in a kiss if you let her. She has also done well when meeting children! 

When she’s not busy soaking up affection, Kelsey loves to explore the world with her nose. A good, sniffy walk is her idea of a perfect outing since she’s all about taking in the sights and smells. She’s also a clever girl who already knows cues like “sit,” “touch” and “place.” She really enjoys learning and would do great in a home that wants to keep teaching her new things, from practical skills to fun party tricks!

On a recent sleepover with a volunteer, Kelsey proved she’s just as lovely in a home environment. She entertained herself politely with toys while dinner was cooking, had wonderful house manners and happily curled up in bed for a cozy night’s sleep. She was noted to be a “perfect roommate.”

Here at the Cruelty Recovery Center, Kelsey has been a total rockstar in our doggy playgroups and has joined many sessions. She adores a good rough-and-tumble romp and would be thrilled to have a playful dog buddy at home. That said, we’re pretty sure this little princess would also be perfectly content as your one-and-only.
