Riley

Meet Riley, or as we call him, Teddy bear boy! Like his nickname, he has the sweetest eyes, the cutest little face and a snuggly personality. Riley was rescued from a hoarding situation where he was living with many other dogs. He spent some time with us at the Behavioral Rehabilitation Center and is now ready to find an adoptive home where he can snuggle on a cozy bed, play and enjoy life with a canine companion or two!

Big fan of: Other dogs! Whether it is playing in a fenced-in yard or going for a walk together, Riley is quite the socialite when he warms up. In play groups, he is energetic and enjoys zooming around with a plush toy. When he warms up, Riley also LOVES petting. Sometimes he will even leap into your arms!

Working on: Building his confidence around new people and places. Having a familiar person and another dog present makes the transition easier for this sensitive boy. Once you’re in his inner circle, he would love to show you some of his wild side. Oh, and cheese is his favorite comfort food!

Dream home: Riley would love an adopter that will be patient while he learns to live in a home. He would also love to have dog friends in his new home to show him the ropes and to play with! And like the toy fanatic he is, Riley would appreciate an established collection of dog toys, that would simply rock his world!
