Meet Lincoln! Lincoln is a snuggly little gentleman who is looking for a loving home. He arrived at the Behavioral Rehabilitation Center in April of 2022, after being rescued from a cruelty situation. While he didn’t have a great first start to life, Lincoln doesn’t let that stop him! He is an adorable, cuddly little guy and once he gets to know you, he’ll spend most of his time sitting in your lap. He has a charming personality and loves to drag around plush toys that are twice his size. Looking for a companion who will always be by your side? Then you have to meet Lincoln! 

Big fan of: Cuddling and spending quality time with people! Lincoln can be shy at first, but once he settles in, he really enjoys hanging out with his people. He finds comfort sitting next to you on the couch while you relax and will even snuggle up to you in bed in at night. Lincoln also loves treats and learning new tricks! While he hasn’t done a lot of training yet, he’d enjoy bonding with you by learning some new skills with positive reinforcement. 

Working on: Being left alone. Lincoln loves spending time with his people and can feel stressed when left alone for long periods. While he was not destructive in his foster home, he would sometimes feel anxious and struggle to relax when his foster was away. Our staff is more than happy to provide you with tips on helping him make that transition. 

Dream home: Lincoln is hoping for an adopter with a quiet home who can spend lots of quality time cuddling with him. Once he settles in, he loves to play with plush toys and chew on bully sticks. Lincoln has lived with other dogs in the past and can get along with calm, adult dogs who respect his space. But his main priority is hanging out with people! Lincoln enjoys sniffing around outside and would like to go on leash walks in a quiet neighborhood or have a nice backyard to explore, if you happen to have one.
