Fern

Fern’s favorite place is wherever you are, especially if there are cuddles involved!
Fern is a soft-hearted, snuggly girl who is all about gentle connection and quiet companionship. When she first arrived at the ASPCA Behavioral Rehabilitation Center, Fern was shut down and fearful, unsure of the world around her. But with time, patience and kindness, she has truly blossomed. These days, she leans in for pets, curls up beside you for a nap and seeks out closeness with the people she trusts.
Fern enjoys peaceful walks and is happiest when the mood is relaxed and the company is kind. She is curious and responsive, especially when treats and praise are involved, and she enjoys learning new things at her own pace.
Fern gets along well with calm, friendly dogs and prefers when the energy stays easygoing. She knows when it’s time to play and when it’s time to chill, making her a lovely match for someone who enjoys both activity and downtime.
Fern will thrive in a home where she can build trust, enjoy gentle routines and be part of someone’s everyday life. She’s sweet, sensitive and full of quiet charm. If you’re looking for a pup who has grown into a steady, snuggly sidekick, Fern might be your girl. Click the “Submit an Adoption Inquiry” button below to learn more about her!
