Bodega

Bodega came to us through an ASPCA rescue operation and was very fearful. He has since completed the Behavioral Rehabilitation Center’s program, and he has made incredible progress! He has learned how to navigate the world with more confidence, and he’s ready to bring his big personality and even bigger heart into a home of his own.

This goofy, high-energy guy is all about fun, friends and food. Bodega’s playstyle is full-throttle — he loves high-contact games with other dogs and is always down for a chase or tackle in big open spaces. He plays best with dogs who enjoy rowdy, physical games.

Bodega has plenty of pep for playtime, but he also enjoys sniffy walks and chill time with his people. Though he is shy with new people at first, he warms up quickly, especially if they come bearing snacks and silly voices. Once you’re in his circle, he’ll be asking for lots of pets and attention.

Bodega’s working on keeping his cool during exciting moments, and he does best with structure when it’s time to leash up and head out. If he’s unsure, a calm voice and a tasty snack go a long way! He’s learned fun training games like “touch” and “four-on-the-floor” to help him stay calm and focused.
