Save the date for the first-ever ASPCA Heroes Experience! Nestled in the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains, you are invited to join us at the ASPCA Behavioral Rehabilitation Center and ASPCA Spay/Neuter Alliance in Asheville, NC to experience our life saving programs first-hand. Over the course of two days, you will have the exclusive opportunity to interact with animal welfare experts, ASPCA leadership, and the animals in our care.
Come see the work you help to make possible!
- Meet and chat with ASPCA President & CEO, Matt Bershadker, at the Welcome Reception
- Experience behavioral rehabilitation treatments for extremely fearful and undersocialized dogs that teach them how to be pets at the ASPCA Behavioral Rehabilitation Center
- Participate in positive enrichment activities for recovering dogs
- Hear from some of the country’s top shelter medicine veterinarians and behavioral specialists
- Learn about gentle animal handling techniques and high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter at the ASPCA Spay/Neuter Alliance.
- Understand how these ASPCA programs support animal shelters nationally
Plus, you might even get to see an animal transport in action – one of hundreds of trips we make each year to move animals out of overcrowded shelters to areas with higher adoption demand.
