Vinca

Meet Vinca, a joyful, goofy hound with floppy ears and a personality that fills the room! If enthusiasm were a sport, she’d be competing daily, ears flapping and nose leading the way.

Vinca came from a situation with lots of other dogs, and she was very fearful when she first arrived. Today, she’s a happy, social girl who has gained confidence and isn’t shy about letting her playful, goofy side shine.

Vinca loves other dogs and enjoys active play, such as running, chasing and keeping the game going with friends who can match her energy and take breaks. Walks are one of her favorite things because the world is full of very important smells that clearly require investigation. She’s also a big fan of car rides, especially when she ends up somewhere fun.

Vinca warms up quickly to new people, especially if tasty treats are involved. Once she knows you, she’ll happily lean in for pets! She may briefly bounce away if something exciting catches her attention, but she’ll be right back for more pets. After she’s had a chance to get her wiggles out, Vinca is happy to pop on the couch and settle in with her people.
