Lavender

Meet Lavender, a soft, silly sweetheart with a big personality and a joyful way of moving through the world! She’s playful, goofy and always ready to turn everyday moments into something fun. Toss her a treat and watch closely — Lavender is a talented treat catcher and very proud of her skills!
Lavender came to the ASPCA Behavioral Rehabilitation Center from a home with many other dogs, where she was having a hard time coping with the world around her. After completing our program, she has gained confidence and is ready to explore life with a family of her own.
With people, Lavender is affectionate once she feels comfortable. She greets familiar faces with happy wiggles and loves leaning in for pets, especially neck and chest scratches. She appreciates a little time to warm up with new people, and once she does, her sweet and engaging personality really shines.
Lavender loves being out and about! Walks are a happy, sniff-filled experience where she takes her time exploring all the good smells. She hops into the car with enthusiasm and rides like she knows an adventure is coming, no matter the destination. At home, she enjoys staying busy with toys, chews, frozen treats and turning cardboard into tiny masterpieces.
Lavender enjoys being around other dogs and tends to have the most fun with playful, social dogs who enjoy a bit of movement. She often likes games of chase and brings enthusiastic, playful energy to her dog friendships.
Lavender is looking for an adopter who enjoys a dog with a playful spirit, a goofy streak and lots of personality. She’s excited to discover the world alongside her new people and settle into life together. If Lavender feels like your kind of dog, click the “Submit an Adoption Inquiry” button to learn more!
