Meet Whimsy, whose striking eyes make it easy to convince people to give her what she wants — more pets!

With eyes that could launch a thousand belly rubs, Whimsy is as unforgettable as her name! She came to the ASPCA Behavioral Rehabilitation Center feeling unsure about the world around her, but now as a proud graduate of our program, she’s ready to take the world on.

Whimsy loves adventurous walks where she can sniff every inch of the environment and spend quality time with her favorite people. She’s a petting enthusiast and will make sure you know when you’ve stopped too soon — expect gentle paw taps or a full-on lap crawl! She’s also a natural zoomer, ready to sprint around the yard just for the sheer joy of it.

Whimsy warms up quickly to new people, especially when treats and cuddles are involved. A relaxed hangout or a walk is her favorite way to make new friends. Once you’re in her circle, she will stick close in case you’re feeling generous with scratches! Whimsy has also done well with other dogs, though her playstyle is big and bold, which is sometimes overwhelming for more sensitive pups.
