When we first met four-year-old Boulder, he was emaciated and losing his fur. The poor dog had an ear infection and a yellow discharge coming from his eyes; he was in a terrible state and in a lot of pain and discomfort. We knew we had to help him.

Thanks to the expert care and lots of love (alongside a bit of spray cheese and peanut butter) from various ASPCA teams, Boulder gained weight and recovered. All of his medical issues and concerns have drastically diminished or cleared!

Now that our big man is healthy, he’s ready to find a home and be loved the way he deserves! And we can’t wait to see him flourish in a new home!

Boulder loves field trips to the park and is always the perfect gentleman. But what he loves most of all is being a couch potato and snuggling up on a cozy blanket. He’s the world’s cutest snorer and when he wakes up, he gives kisses! Boulder is also very chatty, so get ready to have some meaningful conversations.

In his perfect home, Boulder would have loving adopters with teens and adults. And when it comes to dogs, he’s not super interested, he’d rather spend time with his human pals. His adopters should know that Boulder has some medical needs, but our staff will give you all the information you need to help this guy live his best life!

If you’re ready to give Boulder the life he’s always deserved, and you live in the tri-state area, check out his profile to complete an application!
