Adoption Spotlight: Kona

June 21, 2018

This week, we are shining a spotlight on sweet, resilient Kona, who recently graduated from the ASPCA Behavioral Rehabilitation Center (BRC). Kona had been surrendered to a local shelter in Greensboro, North Carolina. When she arrived at the BRC, she was only 14 weeks old and extremely fearful.

The progress that Kona made in the short time she’d been with us was remarkable. Once fearful, she now enthusiastically plays with toys and loves to romp around with dog friends—she would make a great addition to a multi-dog household! She even likes a nice cuddle break on the couch with her favorite people. Tasty treats, like cheese, and playtime will likely be useful tools as Kona continues to explore the world and meet new people—both of which pique her innate curiosity. Overall, this young pup has plenty of love to give to the right adopter! Could you be the one for this sweet girl?

Kona is available for adoption at Asheville Humane Society in Asheville, North Carolina.
