The ASPCA is well-known for assisting law enforcement with suspected cases of animal abuse, bringing animals to safety and ensuring they find loving homes. But that’s only half of many ASPCA animal rescue stories.
The other half happens after the rescue, in the lab and the courtroom. The ASPCA Veterinary Forensic Science teams assist local, state and federal law enforcement agencies in the identification, collection and analysis of evidence for use in cruelty casework.
