Together, Subaru and the ASPCA have helped 74,000 animals—and counting!

The Annual Subaru Share the Love® Event

For 13 years, the ASPCA has partnered with Subaru of America for the annual Subaru Share the Love® Event to help raise funds, spread awareness, and encourage community involvement for our nation’s most vulnerable animals.

Since 2008, the ASPCA has received over $28 million through its participation in the Subaru Share the Love Event, which has made a difference for over 74,000 animals in need to date. In 2020 alone, the ASPCA received nearly $2.5 million, all thanks to Subaru customers and committed supporters who chose the ASPCA when purchasing or leasing a new vehicle during the event. These critical funds continue to help support our lifesaving efforts in rescue, placement, and protection for countless animals in need nationwide.

Thanks to Subaru’s commitment to animals, we’re able to:

Make more happy endings possible, Provide more services to animals in need

Throughout 2020, the ASPCA teamed up with Subaru to host their largest grant program to date, providing nearly $700,000 in grant funding to 146 animal welfare organizations across 42 states and Washington, D.C. The funding supported virtual pet adoption events (or in-person events, as permitted) in partnership with local Subaru retailers and impacted a reported total of 9,188 animals!

Subaru also contributed over $500,000 to support the ASPCA’s COVID-19 Relief and Recovery Initiative last year. This thoughtful contribution helped to provide emergency relief for animal welfare organizations experiencing hardships caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

This collective generosity was made possible by the Subaru Share the Love Event. On behalf of the many animals that we serve, thank you to everyone who has supported the ASPCA through the Subaru Share the Love Event since this collaboration began.
