The ASPCA Disaster Response Team stayed on the ground in the Southeast throughout the weekend, to continue our assistance with animal shelters affected by the powerful hurricane. Since last Thursday, requests for our help have been rolling in, and we’re working with local animal control and humane groups to bring these animals to safety.  Now that the storm has passed, we’re anticipating additional requests over the next few days as people are able to return to the impacted areas and assess the damage.
