Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA) invites eligible Guardian Members of the ASPCA to participate in the Subaru VIP Partners Program. Eligible Guardian members can save between $1,300 - $3,300 off the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP)* (depending on model and accessories) on the purchase or lease of any new Subaru from participating dealers, without haggling! Eligible Guardian Members include those enrolled before April 2, 2009. Those that join on or after April 2, 2009 must be an active Guardian member for a minimum of six (6) months to be eligible to participate.

To take advantage of the VIP Partners Program offer, eligible members must receive an approved Dealer Visit Authorization form prior to visiting a Subaru dealer. To obtain this form, please contact the ASPCA at (646) 706-4690 or email subaru@aspca.org. You will be asked to provide your name, membership ID number, address, e-mail address, telephone number and choice of participating dealer. The ASPCA will verify your Guardian membership status to confirm eligibility and request your Dealer Visit Authorization Form.

Remember, VIP pricing WILL NOT be honored at the dealership without an Approved Dealer Visit Authorization Form presented upon entering the dealership. VIP authorization forms will only be issued to the eligible member and their spouse or domestic partner residing in the same household (address verification required). The VIP Program offer is non-transferable and does not extend to family members such as parents, siblings, children, etc. All sales must be conducted by an authorized and participating Subaru dealer. The VIP program is available in the U.S. only, except for Hawaii.

“Dog Tested. Dog Approved.” Campaign

Did you know that almost half of Subaru owners have a dog, and 7 out of 10 owners have a pet? Right now, Subaru is celebrating its partnership with the ASPCA, and with dog and pet lovers everywhere, with a television campaign featuring adopted canines Olive and Zelda behind the wheel of their Subaru Forester.

Share the Love Update

For the past two years, Subaru has chosen the ASPCA to be one of five beneficiaries of their end-of-year ‘Share the Love’ event. For the second year in a row, the ASPCA is the #1 consumer choice. Last year we received close to $1.2 million from this campaign and this we will receive close to $1.4 million.

This year the ASPCA helped match Subaru dealers with local animal welfare agencies around the country for events and activities to help spread the message that adoption should be your first option, and to involve local shelters in the Share the Love event. Our match-making resulted in more than 350 adoptions and $28,000 raised for local agencies.

The ASPCA wanted to ‘Share the Love’ with participating shelters so we conducted a contest to find the most compelling events and activities. Out of 26 submissions, these five agencies are our winners – each receiving a $5,000 donation from the ASPCA!
