Where there’s need,
we go there for animals.

At the ASPCA, nothing stands in the way of helping animals. For 160 years, we’ve led the fight against animal cruelty — to save, transform and protect millions of lives.

We go there to rescue animals in crisis, provide critical care, train animal welfare partners, support communities and shape stronger laws.

With the support of animal lovers everywhere, we’re standing up to cruelty, challenging broken systems and building a brighter future.

Their second chances start with us.

We support animals through every phase of their journeys, from rescue to rehabilitation to adoption. But we don’t do it alone. By partnering with shelters, veterinary professionals, lawmakers and you, we give animals the lives they deserve.

Cruelty & Disaster Response

We provide the most crucial care in the most crucial moments. From disaster response to cruelty cases, we partner with local shelters and law enforcement, transport animals to safety and provide essential treatment.

Helping Communities & Pets

We provide pet owners across the nation with the resources they need to keep their pets safe and healthy. Our Community Veterinary Clinics ensure more animals have access to physical exams, vaccinations and microchipping, and our Mobile Spay/Neuter Clinics help reduce the number of animals brought to shelters by preventing unwanted litters.

Professional Training & Partnerships

As the national leader in animal welfare, we strengthen the field and expand lifesaving impact by working with shelters, law enforcement and veterinary professionals coast to coast. From hands-on instruction to remote learning, we go there for animals — and for the people who protect them.

Strengthening Laws & Systems for Animals

We don’t back down when it comes to protecting the most vulnerable. The ASPCA works with local, state and federal lawmakers to advance meaningful protections for animals, and we provide training and support for advocates who want to engage more deeply in the policy process.
