Advocacy Volunteer

Time Commitment:

Volunteers are requested to participate in activities for approximately four hours per month for a three month period.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

Volunteers will help the Government Relations team with advocacy efforts including phone banking, drafting letters to the editor, helping to organize advocacy events and meetings, driving social media campaigns, distributing and gathering information at public tabling opportunities and leading direct lobbying efforts.

Requirements/Skills Needed:

Volunteers should be proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel, have strong writing and organizational skills and be at least 18 years of age. Volunteers should also have access to internet, phone service and a computer.

Training Provided:

Training webinars will be provided for all new volunteers and our Grassroots team will provide regular updates to all volunteers.
