Thank you for taking action for Indiana’s animals!
Are you ready to take your advocacy to the next level? You’re invited to join the ASPCA for a special event at the Indiana State House on Monday, February 13.
We’ll be honoring state Representatives Mike Karickhoff and Linda Lawson for their work to ensure the passage of legislation to reduce pet homelessness in Indiana by requiring that, after 2021, shelters and rescues in Indiana spay or neuter companion animals prior to adoption. This legislation has been years in the making, and hope you will join us to celebrate this important victory for Indiana’s companion animals.
This is a great chance to network with other animal advocates over light refreshments. Following the reception, you’ll also have the opportunity to meet directly with your state legislators to discuss passing important animal-protection legislation in 2017.
If you’re new to lobbying, don’t worry—we'll provide a webinar training and materials to prepare you for your meeting! Be sure to RSVP below.
It’s important that we recognize our elected officials when they work to protect Indiana’s animals, and your attendance at this event will go a long way to ensuring their continued support. We hope you’ll join us for this important day!
