California, Join Us for Paws for Celebration!

You’re invited to join us and your fellow animal advocates in Sacramento on Wednesday, April 27, for our annual California Paws for Celebration adoption event!

On this day, we’ll be bringing animals directly to the State Legislature to remind policymakers of the important role shelters and rescues play in our community. You’ll have the chance to speak directly with your state legislators about important legislation impacting California’s animals, including a bill that would ban the use of carbon dioxide gas chambers in your state’s animal shelters and help give former victims of dog fighting second chances at happy, loving homes by ridding them of a mandated “vicious” label.

Don’t miss this fun and important event, especially if you are considering adding a four-legged friend to your family. The event will feature an adoption fair where you can meet some very cute, adoptable cats and dogs from 14 local shelters and rescue groups. You may just go home with a new best friend!

This year marks the ASPCA’s 150th anniversary, and there’s no better way to help celebrate our history of animal advocacy than by joining us for Paws for Celebration! Your attendance will speak volumes to legislators about how important these measures are and help ensure a safer, happier future for California’s animals.

Use the form below to RSVP today.  See you there, California!
