Northern New Jersey, Join Us for a Special Movie Screening and Reception!
Join us on Thursday, June 22, for an exclusive screening of From the Kill Pen, the acclaimed documentary exposing the cruel horse slaughter pipeline and the history of this predatory industry in the United States.
The documentary will be followed by a brief reception with appetizers. During the event, we will update you on the work the ASPCA is doing on the federal level to prevent horse slaughter, and teach you how you can use your voice to promote laws that protect animals—including horses—across the country.
You are one of our advocates in a unique position to make a major difference for horses and your voice will be critical over the next few weeks, so we encourage you to attend if you can. Your member of Congress, Rodney Frelinghuysen, will soon be voting on horse slaughter. We will be counting on your help to encourage him to stand up for our nation's horses and not allow our tax dollars to support the re-opening of horse slaughterhouses on U.S. soil.
We hope you can join us for this informative evening—even if you have come to our advocacy meetings before, we promise that this will be a helpful and inspiring experience. If you can attend, please use the form below to register today.
We look forward to seeing you, and please feel free to invite others.
