The ASPCA, in conjunction with the NYPD’s Animal Cruelty Investigation Squad, has rescued 20 dogs from a dog fighting operation in Queens, New York. Multiple canine victims were found scarred, emaciated, and with little-to-no access to food or water. Dog fighting paraphernalia including weighted harnesses, a treadmill and steroid syringes were also found.
The ASPCA took custody of the dogs after removing them from the nightmarish scene. They are now receiving food, water, enrichment, and love—many for the first time in their lives. We are committed to helping these dogs heal, both physically and emotionally, but we need your support now more than ever. When you make a gift today, you will help provide these dogs with the urgent care they so desperately need, and you’ll help us continue to rescue victims of animal cruelty across the country.
These dogs and so many other animals deserve a chance at a better life. Please make a donation today.
