Big fan of: You! Leo loves his best friends. He walks very well on his leash and will stick right by your side when you’re out for a stroll. He occasionally barks at other dog friends outside, but our Behavior team can give you some tips to help encourage polite behavior. Leo also enjoys lounging around and relaxing.

Special features: Leo will need regular brushing and grooming. A routine walking schedule and guidance will help Leo adjust to his new home and only use the bathroom outside.

Leo came to the ASPCA with an injury to his left hind leg. To prevent long term pain and discomfort, the leg was amputated. Leo gets around just fine as a tri-pawed pup and will continue to grow stronger in his new home.

Dream home: Leo should be the only pet in his new home. He can join a home with kids 10-and-up and an adopter with some previous dog experience.
