Office Foster Cat
As part of our adoption program, some of our feline friends have the opportunity to live in ASPCA team members' offices. Living in an office allows cats to have a more comfortable and domestic living space, and allows our behaviorists to learn more about each individual kitty's personality and needs. Through the office foster program, we are able to offer adopters a clearer picture of how their new feline friend will adjust to life in a permanent home.
More About Her:
Meet Lee! This one-year-old kitty is eager to find a loving home. Lee can be mellow and quiet at times, but she also likes to play with toys. She’ll playfully bat wand toys and chase toy mice.
Lee appreciates slow introductions and gentle attention. She likes to warm up to new people before becoming best friends. Once she is comfortable, she will politely put her paws on your leg to ask if she can join you on your lap.
One of Lee’s cutest traits is how she will jump right up on your lap once you invite her. She just soaks up all of the affection she receives while she’s cozying on her human’s lap. While she likes to curl up in a warm spot, she also enjoys climbing to keep a peaceful eye on her domain.
Lee has a heart condition and needs to take medicine twice daily. Despite this condition, she can run, jump and play like any other cat!
Lee would love to join a quiet home with respectful kids ages 12 and up. Lee is a bit unsure about dogs. She may be okay with a small, mellow dog. Our Behavior team can provide guidance on how to introduce Lee to a resident dog.
