Big fan of: Her inner circle! Hazel is very affectionate with people she knows. She also loves to run!

Not a fan of: Unfamiliar faces, and people in her personal space. Hazel is scared of people she doesn't know, and might bark at them. She also feels uncomfortable with people around her toys and food, but our Behavior Team can give you some tips for helping Hazel overcome her fears. Hazel is not a big fan of other dogs, and will likely never be a dog park dog.

Special features: Hazel already knows Sit and Down! She would love to have you teach her other tricks. With some guidance and supervision in her new home, Hazel will learn quickly to only use the bathroom outside.

Other reasons she's special: Hazel has had several health issues with her knees, and she has developed arthritis in one of her legs. She'll need careful monitoring of her exercise and diet to make sure her knees and legs stay in the best shape possible.

Dream home: Hazel would do best with an adopter who has plenty of dog experience in a home with teens and up.
